At least 30 lives were saved…..
At least 30 “manikin lives” were saved (and a few lost) during a recent BLS/ACLS class sponsored by the new Organizational Development Office. Over fifteen Northwestern Medical Center employees participated in a combined BLS/ACLS recertification class, taught by RESTART instructors, on February 22 here at NMC. According to Jennifer McConnell, the Organizational Development Manager, “RESTART is a new company vendor and this was a new class format for us, and the feedback from the participants was fantastic!” One participant summed it up well, “I know this was a new format and new instructor so I just wanted to make sure that you heard how wonderful it was. I felt like I got so much more information and it was a FAR better refresher then the computerized program that we have been using! Everyone that was there from my department had only great things to say. The instructor was very knowledgeable and kept the class moving at a nice swift pace, which was appreciated by all!”
